The University of the South needed new hardware to implement Banner 9 and associated products. Due to competing priorities, we also needed to expedite the implementation of Banner 9, Oracle upgrades, and other products. The University decided to eat our elephant four bites at a time by using the services of Banner consultants (David Kent, Ellucian) in combination with University staff to expedite the implementation. We also decided that this was the time to move Banner to a private cloud (ENA).
